About Me
Ricardo Castilho is a Toronto-based filmmaker specializing in cinematography and camera operation. With a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for crafting cinematic imagery, Ricardo’s journey into filmmaking began in his mid-twenties, sparked by a lifelong love of movies. Since graduating from the Toronto Film School’s Film Production program, he has honed his skills across a variety of projects, from short student films to independent shorts, documentaries, music videos, and live event videography.

One of Ricardo’s greatest accomplishments is the short film BO:OM, which he wrote, produced, and shot. The film has received multiple awards, including Best Actor from Couch Film Festival, an Award of Distinction from Canada & International Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award from Open Vault Film Festival.
